The DORSI-STRAP™ and the DORSI-STRAP™ PRO provide dorsi-flexion support ONLY. These devices are not designed to provide any medial or lateral support for unstable ankles.
If you need both dorsi-flexion support and lateral/medial support, consider ordering our DORSI-LITE™ foot splint, which provides such stabalization in addition to footdrop support.
The heavy-duty DORSI-STRAP™ PRO provides the same support as the standard DORSI-STRAP™ and provides dynamic dorsi-flexion support for individuals with foot drop who engage in vigorous activities such as jogging, hiking, working, golfing or working out, etc.
