*CAN YOU USE EXTRA DORSI-STRAP STRAPS?

The straps that come with your DORSI-STRAP are laced into your shoe’s lace holes. It’s quick and easy for most people to do. Many DORSI-STRAP users, however, prefer not to move the straps from one shoe to another when changing shoes. Individuals that have difficulty lacing the straps into their shoes frequently have DORSI-STRAP straps in each pair of shoes that they use regularly.

Additional straps (white, black or brown) enable you to use the same cuff with more than one set of straps. This is convenient, and saves money over buying additional complete DORSI-STRAPs.

Additional cuffs (white, black or tan), that work with either the standard DORSI-STRAP or with the DORSI-STRAP PRO, are also available.

Prior to use, the DORSI-STRAP™ straps are installed into the shoe by inserting the lace ends of the straps into the shoe's lace holes and tying the lace ends together, see Fig. 2, above. The straps may be left in the shoe for repeated use. Once the straps have been installed, the shoe is put on as usual, then the DORSI-STRAP™ cuff is applied around the ankle and locked in place using Velcro®, see Fig. 2, above. The front of the foot is then elevated, then the DORSI-STRAP™ straps are connected to the cuff, also using Velcro®, see Fig. 3, above. It's that easy, see Fig. 4!

Dorsi Strap Straps
Standard and Pro Straps. Cuff for either model.

The heavy-duty DORSI-STRAP™ PRO provides dynamic dorsi-flexion support for individuals with foot drop who engage in vigorous activities such as jogging or hiking.

Also recommended for people with shoe size 12 or larger, or for those weighing 195 pounds or more, or for use with boots.

Available in white, black or brown to match shoe colors, and designed to stand up to heavy–duty use, the DORSI-STRAP™ PRO is made with athletic-grade shoelaces and with longer and heavier straps the standard DORSI-STRAP™.

* NOTE: Due to the thickness of its shoelace component, the DORSI-STRAP™ PRO is normally used with shoes or boots that use heavier athletic shoelaces. To use the DORSI-STRAP™ PRO with street shoes that have shoelaces of regular thickness, it may be necessary to remove the regular shoelace from the lace hole where the PRO is laced.
