The DORSI-LITE™ Foot Splint ankle foot orthosis (AFO), provides dynamic dorsi-flexion support, and stabilization of the foot, and helps maintain the foot in a neutral position while at rest, without immobilizing the ankle joint. This device, which fits either foot for adult and youth sizes 5 - 14, is used for activities WHERE SHOES ARE NOT WORN (eg: moving about at home, sitting, resting, or sleeping). It is also useful when travelling on longer trips, and when sitting while at work. The DORSI-LITE™ is water-compatible for bathing, swimming and hydrotherapy. THE DORSI-LITE™ SHOULD NOT BE USED FOR VIGOROUS ACTIVITIES, SHOULD NOT TO BE USED WITH SHOES, AND IS NOT FOR OUTDOOR USE.

If pulmonary or circulation problems, or any medical conditions affecting the foot/ankle, other than foot drop, exist, get a physician's or therapist's approval prior to using the DORSI-LITE™. Effectiveness and comfort are determined by how this device is applied. The amount of continuous time the DORSI-LITE™ can be worn comfortably will vary by individual. New users of the DORSI-LITE™ should experiment to determine the best personal schedule. If discomfort occurs, use of this device should be discontinued temporarily.
